HFS London has been placing international students in homestay for almost 10 years. We place thousands of students in host family accommodation every year. The vast majority of our students are sent to us by language schools, universities and study agencies (based abroad).
Below we share some client reviews & testimonials from language school clients that we have worked with over the years.
If you are thinking about booking a homestay (host family) accommodation through us, then we hope this will reassure you that you will be working with a professional organisation who will put student welfare first.

Review 1 – Stafford House School of English, London
(Carl Roberton, Principal):
“Stafford House have worked with HFS London since August 2011 and have grown together over the years. We have always enjoyed an excellent rapport with the HFS team and share a professional, service-minded approach to ensuring that our students are placed in suitable homestays where they can feel comfortable and cared for. They take safeguarding and welfare extremely seriously and where any issues have arisen they have acted swiftly to ensure a solution was found.
They present the information regarding the homestays extremely clearly and accurately at all times, and the quality assurance processes that they have in place, coupled with quick reactivity where required, make HFS London an ideal partner for Stafford House London”
(Symmone Clark, Accommodation & Welfare Manager, Stafford House):
“Stafford House School of English has been working with HFS since our opening of the London School in 2011. Our two companies have been supporting each others expanding business. Sherry and the team always provide a high level of service and I am happy that our relationship is expanding every day. We receive very positive feedback from our students about the quality of the entire experience from the arrival into their homestays to the moment they leave. HFS only provides the best.
I have enjoyed and appreciated my working relationship and the high level of service I receive from HFS, and am looking forward to future collaboration.”
Review 2 – Berlitz School of English, London
(Roland Morgan, Study Abroad Manager):
“Berlitz has sourced out to HFS the bulk of its student home-stay bookings since 2010.
We have at the same time retained a small number of our own home-stays that we know and trust, enabling us to compare student satisfaction feedback from students staying with both their and our homes; feedback on stays with HFS families compares very favourably. The students that we place with HFS invariably respond with fours and fives out of five on each aspect they are asked to rate: their accommodation, meals and level of hospitality shown. This level of satisfaction adds significantly to student happiness with their overall programme and brings the repeat business – so important for any company.
For us, and of equal importance, is HFS’s size, with its large network of excellent home-stays in the London area. Their scale of operation makes it possible for us to place with them major home-stay bookings, originating from company clients requiring us to provide a package of both language training and accommodation. Having HFS working with us means we gain corporate language training business that could otherwise be lost.
HFS is a professional organization, they are a pleasure to do business with and working with them has brought us valuable commercial benefits. We therefore recommend them to any other company with a similar requirement for student accommodation.”
Review 3 – St George International School of English, London
(Nina Perossa, Sales & Marketing Manager):
“St George International have been working with HFS since 2011 and are extremely satisfied with their service. Our students have been very happy with each and every one of the host families they have been placed with. HFS families follow not only follow our strict guidelines and reach our high levels, but also comply with the guidelines of the British Council.
We would be happy to recommend HFS to other schools in London who need to place their students at quality families.”
Review 4 – Embassy School of English, London
(Felipe Casimiro, Senior Admissions Coordinator):
“Embassy English have been working with HFS since September 2014 following the opening of our Central London Centre in Bloomsbury and our sole homestay providers for that centre. HFS are very easy to do business with a great customer service ethic, we have received excellent feedback from our students and HFS resolved any issues that arise in a timely and professional manner always putting the students welfare first and ensuring the students are happy and well looked after. I look forward to continuing to build on our successful working partnership.”
Review 5 – Clubclass English Language School, London
(Maxine Hurford, Director of Studies):
“Clubclass have been working with HFS for over 3 years now and they are by far the best provider we work with. They find suitable families in a timely fashion. We rarely have complaints from our clients about their host families, in fact, most speak very highly of their host families. If there are ever any issues, the staff at HFS deal with all complaints quickly and efficiently.
We have always had a friendly and professional working relationship with HFS and know this will continue for many years into the future. I would highly recommend HFS as a homestay provider, their customer service is fantastic and they always provide quality families that will make your clients feel they have a home away from home”
